The landscape was all we had expected from semi arid interior regions to the vineyards in the South Our driver/guides were informative and very helpful. KARIJINI PILBARA Thanks Richard so very much for a great trip. Everything was well done and ran smoothly. Seeing Karijini, being immersed in the energy and walking in the gorges has been a long held dream for me and i wasnt disappointed. Seeing the iron ore process from Tom Price thru to Port Hedland was most enlightening as was Woodside's gas infrastructure at Dampier. 80Mile beach was spectacular. As was time spent in Millstream Chichester NP It was so nice to sit bck and take in the scenery with all the driving u did. Thank u again.

I have just completed the Pilbara Karijini tour with Richard from Spirit Safaris and I was very impressed. The accommodation in every stop was comfortable and well appointed, the breakfasts and dinners were superb, and Richard made sure to take everyone's needs into account with our picnic lunches. I am gluten and lactose intolerant, so I presented a bit of a challenge, but he handled it well. I did enjoy our micro group of three and travelling in a car, which I think is far better than a bus. Richard himself is knowledgeable about the places we visited, and he's relaxed with a great sense of humour, which injected some fun into the more lengthy drives. I have no hesitation in recommending Spirit Safaris and their Pilbara Tour. As a West Aussie from down south it was everything I hoped and expected to see...and more!!

We've just come back from a wonderful trip to the Pilbara. There were only three of us plus our tour guide Richard. I really enjoyed the experience of 4WD travelling in such a small group - much preferable to a bus, especially considering the long distances involved - and we all got on well together. I enjoyed my 3 day Lake Eyre trip with Sprit Safari in September. Our three drivers were very knowledgable and managed to cram a lot into just a few days. We had people from many places and everyone mixed well. I was disappointed not to see more birds during our flight over Lake Eyre, but that’s the way it’s been this season.
