MacDonnell Ranges Kings Canyon Tour from Uluru Ayers Rock 3 days tour known as our 3 day Macs Meander Ayers Rock / Uluru to Alice Springs Tours – Day 1 – Departs Uluru 8.30 am for 4 hours highway cruise through picturesque desert oaks & sand hills to Kings Canyon with scenic stops. Enroute view Curtin Springs and Mt Connor lookout, plus George Gill Ranges. Arrive at Kings Canyon for lunch, then the 6 km rim walk (3-4 hours) or easier 40 mins valley floor walk. Overnight Kings Canyon Resort. Day 2 – Travel the Mereenie Loop 4WD track via scenic landscapes including the Camels Humps to Gosse Bluff meteorite crater – enter the crater and 40 mins walk. Head on to lunch at Tyler’s Pass overlooking Gosse Bluff meteorite crater. Afternoon view Mt Sonder, cross the Finke River and travel the MacDonnell Ranges to the Ochre Pits, and Ormiston Gorge & Glen Helen Gorge. Overnight Glen Helen resort. Day 3 – travel to Palm Valley, visit Hermannsburg Mission, and Simpson Gap before arrival in Alice Springs approx 5 pm.
