Hi Richard – Just letting you know that I had the best holiday ever. It was great to get out bush and see country I have never seen before. I can’t believe how clean South Australia is without rubbish. The 10 cent deposit scheme obviously works well. Staying at resorts and pubs was very pleasant. I normally camp but certainly enjoyed the 5-star trip. We had a fun group, and Adrian was great. He had done his homework and was very knowledgeable about the country we traveled through and was a careful and capable driver. He didn’t scare me once, and I’m not a good passenger as I was in an accident once and now prefer to drive myself. I felt very spoilt like I was with a group of friends and not on a tour. I just wish we had had more time, but I certainly will be back. Many thanks and I will certainly come again. Cheers.

Dear Richard – Just a short message to thank you for all your efforts to make the 4-day Safari a worthwhile outback experience. I appreciated the comfortable accommodation and meals you organised. I thoroughly enjoyed the landscapes and would have liked to linger more; this I will do someday when I go back to see Wilpena Pound and other conservation areas. Kangaroo Island was amazing – lovely landscapes; sea lion and fur seal colonies observed up-close in the wild; great birds of prey show; wonderful mallee-type vegetation and much more. The peninsula south of Adelaide is very scenic and lush-looking. I have really enjoyed my break away. Best wishes for your upcoming tour and spiritual awakenings. Have been reading the *Inner Self* magazine Issue 21 that I picked up in a Vegie cafe in Adelaide – the short Q&A with Eckhart Tolle caught my eye! Keep well and thanks again.

Hello Richard. What a nice surprise to hear from you! Thank you very much for the nice pictures! We chose some for you as well. We often talk about our trip to Australia, and we are really glad that we decided to take part in your tour and got you as our guide! With your knowledge and storytelling, it became a very interesting time. It was a great mixture of different sights! Greetings from Germany.

Hi there Richard – I want to thank you for three magic days of traveling in the outback. It was a luxury being driven to places I’d otherwise be a bit wary of tackling independently. You took the mystery out of those unreachable parts of this fascinating continent. I was stunned by the vastness of Lake Eyre and the never-ending terrain. So good to see a star-studded night sky again. Thank you for the precious bits of information you were able to impart to us. It was all so very interesting. I feel richer for the experience. Do let me know when you are doing other trips like these. The Arkaroola idea sounds very exciting. With very best regards.

Hello Richard! – A short note to tell you how much Fran & I enjoyed our recent trip to Lake Eyre with you and the two other travelers, Susan & Michael. We had not contemplated this trip over a long period of time, but all of a sudden it seemed attractive, and we were very lucky to find your group which fitted in perfectly with our timing and what we thought we wanted to see. Your choice of places to visit pleased us very much. I particularly enjoyed but was a little saddened by Farina. Our trip up and back was enjoyable because we both felt comfortable with your driving and the vehicle, the stops were frequent enough but not too long, and we didn’t have to drive and could enjoy the different scenery. The accommodation and meals were very good—much better than we expected considering where we were. Our flight was well worth the extension, and our pilot (not much older than our eldest grandson) gave us confidence. We look forward to hearing details of your other contemplated tour itineraries which sound interesting to us. All together, a good trip—thank you.

G’Day Richard – Jeannie & I enjoyed the Lake Eyre tour greatly and will be recommending your company to everyone we talk to about it. The flight over Lake Eyre was particularly spectacular with the sky being reflected in the lake for much of the time we were over it. We would also like to mention that Adrian made what was a great trip even better. An excellent and entertaining guide indeed. We’d travel with him again any day. Best regards.

Dear Richard – I wanted to express my appreciation and pleasure for having had the opportunity to participate in one of your tours. Though a small group, we were singularly fortunate with having an excellent and experienced driver, ideal weather, and good companions who readily shared their enjoyment of all parts of the tour. Please pass on my appreciation to Adrian Beer for his well-run tour. I in turn will pass on recommendations to others who may like to similarly enjoy small group outback tours. Thank you!

*Review*:
Hi Richard – I want to tell you how wonderful the trip was! Adrian was a wonderful guide, fed us with plenty of good food, took us to places we never would have seen otherwise, and impressed me with his local knowledge and skill as a driver. We saw many off-the-itinerary sites over and beyond those on the list, each one enhancing our knowledge and experience of the areas we visited. He was aware of my needs as a photographer and often stopped so we could take that special shot. The accommodation was lovely, and the flights over Lake Eyre and Wilpena Pound were fabulous, and the pilots were excellent (filled a nervous flyer with confidence!). I cannot think how the trip could have been improved. At breakfast the day after the tour’s end, I was talking with the Mulhollands (co-travelers) and asked them how they would sum up the trip in one word. They said, “Massive. Fabulous. Magnificent.” My first thought was “Stupendous.” I was also impressed by the way Adrian catered for Reg, our elderly teammate, without condescending, and for myself, a bit overweight and not as fit as I thought! He encouraged without being at all belittling—a skill! The Rock art was interesting, but the site was poorly signposted and without much interpretation—I expect we missed a lot of its significance, but it was still a wonderful place to see. Humbling and thought-provoking. Thanks for organizing such a great tour. Although it was a stretch for me financially, I don’t regret a single cent! Thanks, Richard.
